Facilitated Workshop - Presentation Skills

So what is this about?

Quite simply this is about the audience, not you! Presenting is a priviledge and should be thought of that way. Technology has both simplified and complicated the task of the presenter. It is possible to reproduce complex information simply and yet many presenters use too many visual supports or too much information on them.

Effective communication skills are an art. They are not a science.  They can be learned, practiced and mastered.

And how is this Real and Relevant?

It takes practice but the results are worth it. Each participant will be required to come prepared with a current presentation (or will develop a presentation during the session). Participants will deliver this presentation to their peers while being recorded. An open feedback forum will then take place to enable participants to learn from others as well as from the feedback they supply to others. Participants will also have the recording of their presentation to personally review and improve.
